A giant claw game at a theme park in North Carolina required rescuing after a teenager entered it to take a prize, according to reports.
Officials from the theme park reported on Monday that the incident took place on Sunday at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina.
A park representative claimed that they were informed of a 13-year-old male who entered the Cosmic XL Bonus Game claw machine. The teenager was attempting to steal a prize from the machine, according to the authorities.
The Elaut Group, which has operations in Belgium, the United States, Germany, and Spain, is the company that makes the game.
The Cosmic XL Bonus Game is substantially larger than the typical claw game, being around 6.5 feet tall, over 5 feet wide, and 5 feet deep, according to the business’ website.

The medical response crew arrived at the scene, opened the game, and the lad was able to climb out after the park learned that a teenager was stranded inside it.
The adolescent was reportedly treated after being freed and given to his guardian.
The child is prohibited from attending the park for a year due to an attempted theft, according to a park official.
