Dr. Stone Season 3 Release Date, Plot, And What Fan Expecting?

In March 2017, a serialization of the anime and manga Dr. Stone began. The series’ meteoric rise to fame, following the release of an anime adaptation, has been accompanied by a flurry of fan interest manifested in lively debates and conversations across a wide variety of online communities, including Reddit and others.

Fans are eagerly anticipating news on the premiere date of the third season, following the release of the second season last year. In addition, an original video animation (OVA) will be released, presumably before the end of the year, much to the delight of fans. Earlier today, on a stage at Jump Festa ’23 dedicated to the series, the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Dr. Stone: New World (Season 3) anime was unveiled in anticipation of the season’s April 2023 broadcast date. One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. The first season of the Dr. Stone anime (consisting of twenty-four episodes) premiered during the Summer of 2019 anime season, while season two, titled Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, premiered during the first month of 2021.

Taiju Ooki had been keeping his feelings bottled up for a long time, but he had not admitted them. He was about to let go and confess his feelings for Yuzuri Ogawa. However, just as he was about to admit his guilt, a dazzling green light suddenly emerged out of nowhere and transformed every living thing into stone.

Even after thousands of years, Taiju still seems bewildered when he comes to. He looked around and saw that he was surrounded by trees and verdant meadows and that the contemporary world had vanished.

While the rest were still stone, he did find one person who had also awakened. Senku, a buddy of Taiju’s, is a science enthusiast who has been conscious for a while (a couple of months). Senku informed Taiju he would use science to bring civilization back.

Senku’s intelligence and Taiju’s prowess in battle made them a formidable duo. The two quickly figured a how to unfreeze people who had turned into stone.
