Kelly Clarkson Divorce Settlement: Is He Gonna Pay $45,000 P.M? Reports indicate that pop diva Kelly Clarkson and her ex-manager Brandon Blackstock have reached a settlement in their ongoing divorce proceedings. As part of the agreement, Clarkson will allegedly make a sizable payment to Blackstock.
According to The Blast, as part of the settlement, Kelly Clarkson will make a one-time payment to her ex-husband of $1,326,161 million that will not be subject to taxes. In addition, she will continue to make monthly child support payments of $45,601 for their two children, River Rose, who is seven years old, and Remington Alexander, who is five years old. Additionally, the exes have come to an agreement on joint custody of their children, who will spend the majority of their time in Los Angeles with Clarkson.

According to The Blast, the agreement also includes a provision stating that both of their children will be vaccinated against COVID-19. This is a concern because it is “related to the travel back and forth to see their father out of state.” Blackstock has been making his home on the property that belonged to the former couple in Montana.
As part of the settlement, the children will continue to travel by private aircraft until they have received all of their vaccinations. Additionally, Clarkson has agreed to make a “reimbursement” payment to her ex in the amount of $50,000 for the cost of the children’s private aviation travel. In the settlement, the singer received the ranch as well as another property located in Montana.
However, they came to an agreement that Blackstock can stay at the ranch until June while he hunts for his own home, and that he will pay Clarkson a rent of $2,000 per month. On the other hand, Clarkson is going to be responsible for making spousal support payments to her ex-husband in the amount of $115,000 every month until January 31, 2024.
This amount is far less than the reported spousal support obligation of $150,000 per month that Clarkson was sentenced to pay in July of the previous year. According to The Blast, the two have also divided up a lot of the other assets that they had in common. The family dogs, a flight simulator, many of their cars, including a pick-up truck, Ford Bronco, Ford F-250, and a Porsche Cayenne, and “all guns purchased previous to and during the marriage” will be retained by Clarkson.
On the other hand, Blackstock will acquire ownership of their farm’s cattle, livestock, stock dogs, and horses, in addition to an additional Ford F-250, a Ford F-350, and an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), and six CAT snowmobiles. In addition to that, he is storing a golf simulator as well as a pair of extremely expensive Patek Philippe watches.
After nearly seven years of marriage, Clarkson finally decided to file for divorce in June of 2020. According to court documents that were obtained by Us Weekly at the time, in July of 2021, she made a request to the court to be declared legally single while they continued to hash out the details of the division of their assets.
Her reasoning was that they “both deserve the opportunity to build a new life,” which was started in her petition. It was reportedly granted to the artist in September when they made that request. The sources who spoke to The Blast stated that both parties are content with the terms of the divorce settlement and are prepared to move on with their lives.
