Kian’s Bizarre B&B Season 2 Officially in the Works

Netflix Korea has green-lit a second season of Kian’s Bizarre B&B, the reality-variety show that paired web-toon creator Kian84, BTS’s Jin, and actress Ji Ye-eun in a ramshackle guesthouse on Ulleungdo Island. The streamer announced the renewal on 11 July 2025 but stopped short of revealing a premiere date or a confirmed cast list, saying only that production is underway.

Why Season 1 Became a Cult Hit

  • Island setting & odd-ball host – Over three spring weeks (8 – 22 April 2025), viewers watched Kian84 turn mundane chores into surreal side-quests and redesign rooms on a whim.

  • Star power with humility – Guest-turned-handyman Jin hauled groceries, fixed gutters, and bonded with visitors over late-night ramen, showing a down-to-earth side of a global idol.

  • The “heart” factor – Meals were customised to guests’ hometown flavours, and castmates openly comforted one another when island life turned exhausting.

  • Unfiltered humour – From Kian’s DIY dragon-boat bed to impromptu talent shows, the series walked a tightrope between chaos and sincerity.

The combo pushed the show to No. 6 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 (non-English TV) during its debut week.

Season 2: What We Actually Know

Item Status
Production Confirmed by Netflix Korea (11 July 2025)
Premiere date TBA – no official window announced
Returning cast Only Kian84 is confirmed. Netflix has not yet said whether Jin or Ji Ye-eun will rejoin.
Format tweaks Kian joked in an April livestream about “putting the B&B on wheels” so it can follow Jin’s schedule, but that idea remains unofficial.
  • A mobile guesthouse that pops up near concert stops or different scenic regions.

  • Broader guest mix, especially international travellers who can riff off the trio’s banter in fresh ways.

  • Better chore rotation—viewers loved Season 1’s spontaneity but want slightly cleaner rooms and more on-screen prep for guests with special needs.

Why the Anticipation Is So High

Even with scant details, fans expect another round of heartfelt hospitality and unpredictable comedy. Whether the show stays island-bound or hits the road, the core promise remains: genuine connection wrapped in Kian84’s wonderfully bizarre imagination.

Stay tuned—Netflix says more casting and scheduling news will drop “in the coming months.”
