Love Island Season 8 Release Date: Is Season 8 Just Released? Love Island is returning for its eighth season in 2022, which means a brand-new group of singles has departed the United Kingdom to pursue love (and a massive financial prize) in a brand-new villa in Mallorca.
Love Island 2022 will have even more amusing challenges, dramatic recouplings, and shocking dumped contestants, while Laura Whitmore will return to the presenting role and Iain Stirling will offer his iconic (and hilarious) narration for another season.
Here is what we currently know about Love Island 2022.
Love Island Season 8 Plot/Story
Day 1 of Love Island 2022 began with the girls arriving in the new villa and getting to know one other before Laura arrived and lined them up to meet their first pairings, according to the latest rumors. However, she stunned the girls when she revealed that they would not be selecting their first partner for the series this year.
Instead, it was revealed that the public would determine who would be paired with whom to begin this year’s competition. First Dami was paired with Amber, then Liam with Gemma, then Ikenna with Indiyah, then Andrew with Tasha, and last Luca with Paige.
However, the surprises did not end there. Before the first night’s party began, the couples began to open out to one another, at which point Davide entered the villa. After he introduced himself to everyone, the group gathered for a round of naughty dares to break the ice.
The first episode concluded with the very first test of the season, in which it was revealed that Davide had 24 hours to choose which girl he would most like to date.
From the sounds of things, the self-proclaimed “Italian Stallion” may turn the heads of several of the girls, but who will Davide choose to pair up with? And, more crucially, which youngster will be at risk of leaving the villa early after Davide makes his selection?

Love Island Season 8 Trailer
In early May, we were treated to two brief ads for the forthcoming season of Love Island, then on Saturday, May 14, a longer version aired on ITV before Britain’s Got Talent.
The trailer, which features the legendary voice of Iain Sterling, proclaims “love is ours” and makes fun of some of the numerous dating shows that have emerged over the years.
Before the show returned to our screens, Love Island 2022 also published a first peek video that was used to introduce this year’s islanders at the beginning of the premiere episode.
From a paramedic to a real estate salesperson, the video provides a glimpse of the singles’ professions as they embark on the ultimate summer of love.
