Disney+ Reveals A New MCU Timeline Order

Phase 4 has already shown audiences, new starring heroes, like Shang-Chi and the Eternals on the big screen, but now Moon Knight has been added to the list. Moon Knight may be the most disconnected movie in the MCU since Iron Man came out in 2008. The movie is based on a psychological thriller.

Based on the first episode and what reviewers say about the next four, the series doesn’t seem to be very connected to the bigger MCU story. But one of the show’s producers says that the move was meant to make the show more appealing to new people because it stands on its own in the universe.

Despite this, recent rumors say that one of the Avengers will show up in the show. The cast and crew are already talking about where Marc Spector will go in the MCU. During Phase 4, there will be more prequels, spinoffs, and other universes. Many people may want to know where Moon Knight fits in the timeline. Well, Disney+ has just answered that question, so that’s good.

Moonlight In MCU Timeline Order?

Following the release of Moon Knight, Disney+ changed the Marvel Cinematic Universe Timeline Order so that the psychological order came after Hawkeye, instead of before. This is the last movie in the timeline, after Eternals, Hawkeye, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Moon Knight is the last movie in the timeline.

How Does Moon Knight Belong Into The Marvel Cinematic Universe?

With its placement of the MCU movies and shows on Disney+ in order, the streaming service has finally given people a clear timeline. However, there have been a few small mistakes in the placement that have since been fixed. Taking place a year after Endgame, Moon Knight could be the first MCU project set in the far future of 2025. Now that the news about how Endgame will affect everyone else in the superhero world has died down a little, Moon Knight’s isolation from the rest of the world may make sense.

As a result, Moon Knight is also set in a time when the Multiverse has begun. Loki and Spider-Man: No Way Home both came out after Moon Knight. With multiple versions of Moon Knight inside Steven Grant/Marc Spector’s body, who knows how many more Moon Knights are out there in other worlds.

Fans shouldn’t get too worked up about how the Moon Knight fits into the timeline because it’s so different from the bigger mysteries in the MCU. There have been rumors that Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner will appear in later episodes. If these rumors are true, the show’s chronological place may be important to his upcoming role in She-Hulk. According to what people say in the press, the first four episodes of Moon Knight will mostly be on their own. However, there’s a good chance that the last few chapters will start to connect Marc Spector to the MCU, setting him up for future team-ups and hinting at where he’ll be going in the future.
