Shazam! The long-awaited sequel to Shazam! (2019) in the DC Extended Universe is called Fury of the Gods. This sequel follows foster boy Billy Batson (Asher Angel), who, with the power of the word “Shazam!”, can turn into the adult superhero Shazam (Zachary Levi). Billy overcomes his fears of his new family and learns to love his newfound superhero powers with the support of his foster siblings.
Warner Bros. confirmed in 2019 that production had begun on a sequel to the 2016 film Shazam!, which was well-received by critics for being a more fun and lighthearted entry in the DCEU. The filmmaker has stated that filming has concluded for the film as of October 31, 2022, raising the bar for audience anticipation.
As a result, we’ve compiled a detailed, user-friendly manual covering every aspect of Shazam! Information on Fury of the Gods, such as when it will be released, who will be in the cast, and whether or not there will be another Shazam! film, will be provided.

What Is Shazam! Fury Of The Gods About?
The second film will center more on Billy’s foster siblings as the group bands together to take on the Daughters of Atlas.
The plot summary reads as follows: “Bestowed with the abilities of the gods, Billy Batson and his fellow foster youngsters are still learning how to combine the teenage world with their adult Super Hero alter egos.”
But when an angry trio of ancient gods known as the Daughters of Atlas shows up on Earth in search of the magic taken from them long ago, Billy (as Shazam) and his family are thrown into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of their world.
Is Black Adam In Shazam! Fury Of The Gods?
Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson, is released now after October 21, 2022, five months before Shazam! God’s wrathful rage. Many viewers have been anticipating the clash between Shazam and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Black Adam ever since Shazam’s casting was announced. In his own right, Black Adam is a past Champion and Shazam! set a lot of foundation for him to appear in subsequent films.
Fans are still holding out hope for a cameo from Black Adam in Shazam! 2, despite the fact that it has already been stated that he will not be appearing in the film. Maybe Warner Bros. is trying to outdo Marvel and Disney with their spoiler deception.
If the success of the film ensures that Levi’s Shazam gets a third installment, then there is still a chance that Black Adam will make an appearance. Since Black Adam is the film that will introduce the complicated Shazam villain/antihero to fans, it makes sense that Warner Bros. would wait to film the long-awaited Shazam vs. Black Adam big-screen confrontation until after Black Adam has been established in the DCEU canon.
Since Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a cinematic megastar, it would be financially counterproductive for Warner Bros. and DC to limit his involvement and box office draw to a single movie as the villain. Although Black Adam has stated that he will not be appearing in Shazam! Fury of the Gods, the sequel is shaping up to be just as fun, funny, and action-packed as the first.
