Teenage Bounty Hunters Season 2: Will It Take Time?

Teenage Bounty Hunters Season 2: Will It Take Time? From creator Kathleen Jordan and executive producer Jenji Kohan, Teenage Bounty Hunters is another Netflix success that crosses genres (Weeds, Orange Is the New Black). In the vein of an adolescent comedy and a twisty crime thriller, the series has been embraced by streaming fans.

Anjelica Bette Fellini stars as Sterling Wesley, the older of the two fraternal twins at Willingham Academy (played by Maddie Phillips). Sterling leads a fellowship there, and the two girls lead a fairly normal existence until they wreck their father’s truck and decide to take up bounty hunting in order to pay for the repairs. Together with veteran fugitive stalker Bowser Simmons (Kadeem Hardison), they try to maintain a normal high school life while also chasing down bounty hunters. As of August 14, 2020, there are just 10 episodes in the first season, but fans are already begging for more Wesley brothers’ risky adventures.

It’s going to take some time for Netflix users who are curious about a second season and what it might include to find out. While the first season is still fresh off the presses, we’ve compiled a list of all the information we’ve gathered thus far.

Teenage Bounty Hunters Season 2 Plot/Story

Season 2 has yet to be approved by Netflix, but Jordan already has a plan for the Wesley twins, who have now been shown to be cousins rather than identical twins. EW interviewed Kate after the premiere of season 1, and she went into great detail about the show’s cliffhangers, emphasizing the girls’ complicated love relationships.

“Luke, April, or none of the above? How likely is it that Blair will rekindle her romance with Miles?” Jordan posed the question in a joking manner. “What will happen to Blair’s relationship with Sterling as a result of this? Who knows how it will influence Sterling’s connection with Blair and her parents? And how will it affect Sterling’s dedication to Blair’s family for so many years? Hopefully, we’ll be able to unwrap all of this together.”

However, Jordan seems more interested in exploring the themes laid forth in Season 1’s spectacular ending than the big story issues that were opened and (apparently) resolved.

When Dana and Debbie meet, “I would love to tackle the subject of what being a sister means, since Dana and Debbie, obviously, will have that to explore there,” Jordan said. “Similarly, is it important to Sterling and Blair that they are not biologically identical twins, but rather cousins? And how will this affect their relationship with their relatives?”

Teenage Bounty Hunters: The Complete Series is available to Netflix subscribers for free right now. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we learn more about the upcoming second season.

Teenage Bounty Hunters Season 2 Cast

Teenage Bounty Hunters’ varied cast of people is sure to grow as the girls build their bounty hunting enterprise. Adding a couple more rappers-turned-actors to the mix wouldn’t be out of the question, as Wu Tang’s Method Man stole the show in season one.

As far as new characters go, we can state with a high degree of certainty that the major cast from season 1 will be back in action for season 2. Maddie Phillips and Anjelica Bette Fellini star as Sterling and Blair Wesley in this collection. Without Kadeem Harding’s bounty hunter and vendor of excellent yogurt, Bowser Simmons, the program wouldn’t be the same. Virginia Williams, who played Debbie Wesley, the twins’ mother, is also expected to return.

A lot more Spencer House, Devon Hales, and Myles Evans will be in the series, given the continuing tension in the romantic arcs. Expect to see more of them.
