According to authorities in Everman, Texas, the search for a 6-year-old kid who has been missing for several months is now a death investigation.
Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, the boy, was last seen in October at a hospital where Cindy Rodriguez-Singh was giving birth to twins, according to investigators.
When police checked on the family’s wellbeing on March 20, Noel wasn’t there. Rodriguez-Singh, her husband, and six additional kids boarded a flight two days later, according to Everman Police Chief Craig Spencer, and they headed for India.
Noel is most likely dead, Spencer stated at a news conference on Thursday. “Based on the totality of the facts, combined with the data available to us at this time, it has led to a very tragic, unfathomable and devastating conclusion,” Spencer said.

No body has been discovered. Authorities stated that some searches have already started, and they are attempting to establish other sites to search.

According to authorities, the search for the Noel has involved digging through a recently poured concrete porch at the residence where the family had been sleeping and using canines that can smell human remains.
Rodriguez-Singh and her husband, Arshdeep Singh, have arrest warrants out for them on a charge of abandoning and endangering a child.

Police want them detained and returned to the United States, according to Spencer. According to him, investigators think they are still in India.
According to officials, the search started on March 20 when the Texas Department of Family Services requested that officers check on the boy’s wellbeing.
Rodriguez-Singh claimed Noel was in Mexico with his biological father at the time, but detectives ultimately found that to be untrue, according to the police.
Spencer revealed on Thursday that it appeared from interviews with family members and a witness that Rodriguez-Singh had been cruel against Noel, depriving him of food and drink and even hitting him with her keys at one point.
He said that the child’s most recent visit to a doctor was in July for speech treatment. At that time, other professional appointments were missed.
Rodriguez-Singh previously stated that the youngster was “evil” or “possessed,” according to the police, who said that their inquiries had subsequently revealed this.
According to investigators, Rodriguez-Singh, her husband, and the other kids had no outstanding warrants or other matters that would have stopped them from boarding a plane when they traveled to India.
According to Spencer, federal authorities are aiding. He stated that a criminal probe is still ongoing.
