The Great Lakes were Gray’s designated area. His mother posted about the disappearance on social media.

“The last 8 days have been grueling, nauseating, heartbreaking, and quite honestly soul-crushing,” she wrote. Together with his younger brother Deck, “This boy” is my “heart, my world, and my love of my life.”

“As I type this, I’m trying not to throw up,” his mother continued. I am unable to sleep and will not go to bed until I know where my son is and what happened to him.
