The Rookie Season 6 Plot: What Will Be Happen Next?
Forty-year-old John Nolan uproots his life from a small village and travels to Los Angeles to fulfil his dream of joining the LAPD. He is determined to make the most of his second chance at life and must learn to thrive in the challenging, humorous, and often surprising environment of a “young” police officer.
Nathan Fillion plays John Nolan, a 45-year-old divorcee and construction firm owner with one grown son in The Rookie. Nolan is also a business entrepreneur, and he’s been divorced. When he intervenes in a bank robbery, though, everything changes for him. John moves from his home in Pennsylvania to Los Angeles so that he might become a rookie police officer with the LAPD.
After moving to Los Angeles and becoming a full-fledged police officer, John Nolan, the oldest Rookie in the LAPD, used his life experience, perseverance, and sense of humour to keep up with rookies 20 years his junior. As his police training comes to an end, Nolan must face his toughest obstacle as an officer: trusting his own judgements.

The Rookie Recap And Review
The pilot episode completely blew me away in terms of both pace and content, and I’ve been a fan ever since. If the programme was going to be any good, I knew every episode had to live up to the promise of the pilot, and I’m happy to report that it did.
I’ll go as far as to say it’s as good as Game of Thrones, the last show I watched religiously until the end before starting Rookie.
I knew Nathan Fillion would be the show’s highlight because I’ve been watching him since his Firefly days. Like the protagonists of Firefly and Castle before him, Nathan carries the show on his shoulders. And as the show goes on, we get to see the other performers’ great talent and the many facets of their respective personalities.
The actors here are fantastic at creating an atmosphere. The best part of this course is the writing component. The story never slows down; there is constant action as well as brilliant moments in emotional circumstances; no problem or plot arc ever lingers for too long, and problems are constantly solved even as new ones are presented to the protagonists.
There’s a great mix of dramatic tension, humorous moments, and heartfelt emotion. Currently, this show is the best on television, so I’m crossing my fingers that they have a few seasons under their belt before hitting the creative wall that plagues so many shows after their best stories have been told. In short, I love it. I look forward to what the future holds.
