In the Truck Series, Dillon won the 2010 NASCAR Rookie of the Year award. In 2011, he went on to win the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series title.

As a rookie in 2012, he was named NASCAR’s 2012 Rookie of the Year, and he repeated as champion in 2013.
