The plot of The Movie
The Perrons, parents to Andrea, Nancy, Christine, Cindy, and April settled into a Rhode Island farmhouse in 1971. Their dog Sadie won’t come inside, and they’ve blocked up the basement door. Weird occurrences occur in the early evenings. All the clocks in the house show that it is currently 3:07 am. Carolyn wakes up with several wounds the next morning, and Sadie’s body has been discovered. Both she and Christine are in perilous situations.
Carolyn contacts Ed and Lorraine Warren, who studied the haunted doll Annabelle lately. After meeting Carolyn, the Warrens decide to launch a preliminary inquiry. It is at this time that Lorraine, a clairvoyant, realizes that the Perron family is under the influence of evil and that leaving the home won’t liberate them.
With the aid of their assistant Drew Thomas and a police officer called Brad Hamilton, they set up cameras and alarms in the home to collect evidence. Based on further investigation, it appears that a witch by the name of Bathsheba Sherman, who was connected to Mary Towne Eastey, formerly lived in the house. She murdered herself and her newborn child at 3:07 a.m. on May 7, 1863.
Annabelle Has Killed One and Nearly Killed Numerous Others
Annabelle allegedly attempted murder on Ed and Lorraine Warren soon after they took her into their possession. The Warrens said that numerous times on the way home, potentially deadly collisions were avoided due to brake failure. Ed sprinkled the doll with Holy Water, and the problem was solved. A priest apparently chose Annabelle and made fun of her supposed demonic abilities.
When the priest was on his way home, he was involved in a terrible accident that completely damaged his automobile. A few minutes before the collision, the priest said he caught a glimpse of Annabelle in his mirrors. The demonic abilities of Annabelle were apparently scoffed at by another museum visitor. He was returning home when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a tree, killing himself instantly.
The girlfriend of the tourist was in the car with him when he was in a terrible accident. The pair were reportedly giggling over the doll moments before the tragedy occurred. The Warrens repeated the aforementioned tales several times throughout the years. But they never verified the stories; for example, the couple never revealed the identity of the priest and bikers.
