Playing the best games on a personal computer is the best option, with the possible exception of platform exclusives like Spider-Man 2 (PS5), developed by Marvel for PlayStation 5.
Even though Spider-Man 2 is only playable on the PlayStation 5, that could change in the future. It’s safe to assume that PC gamers everywhere are going bonkers about the latest wallcrawler teasers and gameplay, but they might just have to hold their horses a little longer than usual.
Even though Insomniac Games’ massive open-world superhero game looks stunning on the PS5, it would be even more stunning on high-end PCs after a few graphical adjustments, compatibility for different GPUs, and, in due time, additions from the modding community.
Detailed below are all the current details regarding Spider-Man 2’s PC release on sites like Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Coming to PC?
There may not be an official announcement just yet, but I would bet money that Spider-Man 2 will be coming to PC.
Recently, several games that were exclusive to the PlayStation 5 have been released for PC years after their initial release. After all PS5 gamers have played a game, it’s a terrific opportunity for Sony to reach new fans and boost sales.
Spiderman 2 PC Release Date
By all accounts, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PC is currently targeting a late 2025 release window, maybe in October or November. The two-year timeline is mostly based on the porting times of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the most recent PC games from Insomniac Games, which took around that amount of time to arrive.
Rift Apart had a PC debut in July 2023, following a June 2021 PS5 launch, and Miles Morales came out for PlayStation platforms in November 2020 and PC in November 2022.
