Netflix has announced a fourth and final season of Cobra Kai. Although the program will conclude after season 6, spin-offs have been frequently teased, thus the Miyagiverse may continue. This article contains all the information currently available regarding the sixth season of Cobra Kai, including cast, plot details, the reason for the series’ cancellation, and more.
Cobra Kai Season 6 Release Date
Five months after Season 5’s September 2022 premiere, Netflix made the formal announcement that the series would return for a sixth and final season on January 20, 2023.
Production on Cobra Kai Season 6 is expected to begin in the beginning of 2024, when the SAG-AFTRA strike ends in early November 2023. The sixth season of Cobra Kai may be the longest wait for Netflix customers, despite the show’s usual regularity of new seasons.
Season 6 of “Cobra Kai” is expected to premiere around the middle of 2024, though this has not been confirmed.
Is There Any Trailer For Cobra Kai Season 6?
Although Netflix has already released a teaser video revealing the final season of Cobra Kai, the official trailer for season 6 has not yet been released. It doesn’t look like there’s a new video in the clip, but it’s certainly enough to have fans psyched over the news. We can’t wait to catch up with our favorite actors and actresses and see how the narrative concludes. Check out the video at:

Netflix did not only post the film of the renewal, but also a video of the Cobra Kai ensemble preparing for table reads. However, it was already reported that the new season will be delayed due to strikes at the time that this clip below was broadcast. Regardless, it’s fantastic to have the cast back together again. The sooner they can start filming, the better!

Who is in the Cast of Cobra Kai Season 6?
The majority of the supporting characters and the core cast appear to be returning, as shown in the teaser’s scene of a table read for Season 6. Those who were seen in the promotional video and are thus confirmed to be making a comeback include:
- Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso
- William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence
- Xolo Maridueña as Miguel Diaz
- Mary Mouser as Samantha LaRusso
- Tanner Buchanan as Robby Keene
- Jacob Bertrand as Eli ‘Hawk’ Moskowitz
- Courtney Henggeler as Amanda LaRusso
- Peyton List as Tory Nichols
- Martin Kove as John Kreese
- Yuji Okumoto as Chozen Toguchi
- Vanessa Rubio as Carmen Diaz
- Dallas Dupree Young as Kenny Payne
- Gianni DeCenzo as Demetri
In August, Xolo Mariduea (Miguel) released Blue Beetle, a film in which he portrayed Jaime Reyes, better known by his superhero name, Blue Beetle. Despite the actor’s new role in the DCU, you can count on him to return for Cobra Kai Season 6. The final season’s production should begin soon and hopefully won’t conflict with any of his other work.
For several seasons now, Thomas Ian Griffith has been Cobra Kai’s main antagonist. Even though Terry Silver got what he deserved in the fifth season of Cobra Kai, it is still unclear whether or not he will return for the sixth.
The TUDUM commercial for Cobra Kai season 6 shows that Griffith was not present during the table read, but this in no way reflects the final cast. There will be a lot more people featured in future episodes; the table read we saw probably only covered the first episode. Nine more episodes will be released.
It’s possible that Terry Silver’s story isn’t finished here.
Hilary Swank, who played Julie Pierce in The Next Karate Kid, has been the subject of widespread speculation that she may join the cast of Cobra Kai for its sixth season. No official word on this happening yet, but we hope it does! We’ve seen so many excellent Karate Kid cameos across the five seasons. If these people are going to be competing in a global tournament in the final season, then it makes perfect logic to bring back Julie Pierce.
Swank earlier claimed that she had not been approached to join the show. CinemaBlend reports that Macchio has discussed the possibility and indicated his willingness to participate.
