The lightning-quick volleyball shots of Hinata and Kageyama are a favorite among Haikyuu!! viewers. The next chapter in Karasuno High’s drama has been highly anticipated by viewers ever since the fourth season of the show debuted in 2020. Despite recent announcements, it was not as anticipated that the remaining few manga chapters would be turned into a fifth season.
The anime series’ season will end with two theatrical films rather than 20–30 minute episodes. The movies will continue where the anime left off by focusing on chapters 294 to 303 of the popular sports manga by Haruichi Furudate.
Haikyuu Season 5 Release Date
Haikyuu!! The big volleyball saga’s last movie, which will be released in two parts, was revealed during a 2022 event. A TOHO Animation trailer, which served more as a teaser and included images of the main characters before displaying the title card, was also made available at the event.

Both want to play professionally after they graduate from high school, but Hinata is constrained by his height, which is undesirable for a spiker. Kageyama, however, finds it challenging to work with his teammates despite being a great “King of the Court.”
When Kageyama and his teammates humiliated Hinata’s squad in middle school, their animosity between the two first arose. The fact that Hinata attends the same high school as Kageyama and, as a result, plays volleyball in the same club, however, prevents him from outperforming Kageyama.
Together, they develop each other’s skills, learn to collaborate, and reach new heights. The Battle at the Garbage Dump between Karasuno and Nekoma was set up by Karasuno’s victory over Inarizaki High School at the end of Season 4.
Haikyuu!! is available in all four seasons on Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu. Fans can read the manga on the Shonen Jump website, app, and Viz Media’s official website, however they won’t be able to find out how the narrative finishes there.
