A lot of personal tragedy has befallen Drew Carey in the last decade. He is famous for hosting The Price Is Right and The Drew Carey Show and for his iconic appearances in shows like NCIS, Family Guy, Community, and, most recently, The Masked Singer (where he played the role of Llama last season).
Is Drew Carey Married?
Despite being engaged twice, Drew Carey is single. He became engaged to chef Nicole Jaracz in 2007, and he had a strong relationship with her son, Connor, who was six years old at the time. Their 2012 engagement ended in heartbreak, unfortunately.
The two became engaged shortly after meeting sex therapist Amie Harwick in 2017. The engagement was unfortunately called off in 2018. After her ex-boyfriend Gareth Pursehouse was arrested on suspicion of murder, Amie was forcibly removed from her Hollywood Hills condominium in February 2020, and she later passed away.
The news of his ex-fiancée’s death devastated Drew to the point that he had to suspend production of The Price Is Right and put it on hold for a week.
“Amie and I had a love that people are lucky to have once in a lifetime. She was positive force in the world, a tireless and unapologetic champion for women, and passionate about her work as a therapist. I am overcome with grief. I would like to thank you in advance for giving myself and everyone who loved Amie privacy while we try this tragic situation,” he said at the time.
He also tweeted, “I hope you’re lucky enough to have someone in your life that loves as much as she did.”
On April’s episode of The Talk, Drew discussed forgiving Amie’s alleged killer and how futile it is to harbor resentment toward someone with mental illness. “He has a mental illness. You have to be able to forgive somebody like that because they were abused when they were kids. “And I wish he had never met her or done that. Forgiving someone doesn’t imply you have to be friends with them,” Drew added.
It would appear that Drew Carey is single at the moment, and if he is in a relationship, he is keeping it under wraps. Truthfully, he prefers to keep to himself. The host of TPIR is very outspoken when it comes to politics, but he keeps his personal life pretty under wraps. We do know that he is quite serious about Christmas, and that his grown-out beard is pretty wicked, perhaps for reasons other than looking like Santa.

It is unfortunate that Drew Carey is childless. He never had a family because of the women he dated. In Connor Jaracz’s life, nonetheless, he played the role of a father figure. The public has yet to see Drew Carey’s offspring as of the year 2023.
