After he taught students in the 11th and 12th grades to write their own obituaries as part of a lecture before to that day’s active shooter simulation in Florida, a high school teacher was terminated from his position by the school district that employs him.
“It wasn’t to say, ‘You’re going to die, and let’s worry you out,'” Jeffrey Keene explained to Fox 35 Orlando. “You’re going to die, and let’s stress you out.”
