Alabama Police Claim That A Walmart Employee Recorded Children Using The Bathroom

A man from Alabama has been charged with 53 offenses after police claim he recorded children in a Walmart toilet.

Ethan Richardson, a 25-year-old worker at the Walmart in south Cullman, was first detained in February on suspicion of filming a juvenile while doing his job duties, according to a previous article from McClatchy News.

Adam Clark, a spokesman for the Cullman Police Department, told WBMA in February that officers were at the Walmart responding to a different incident when a citizen approached them with information concerning a recording device being used by Richardson.

Richardson had been inappropriately filming a youngster using his own device, according to Clark, who spoke to McClatchy News.

According to authorities, Richardson was charged with producing and possessing child pornography, but additional charges may be filed. Richardson was fired by Walmart, according to WBMA.
