Officials from the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire have begun searching near Revere, Massachusetts, as part of an ongoing investigation into the assumed death of Harmony Montgomery, who vanished at the age of 5 and has not been seen or heard from since.
Prosecutors filed charges against Adam Montgomery, her father, earlier in this year, accusing him of her alleged murder.
According to the investigators, Montgomery is suspected of killing his daughter on December 7, 2019, and then either disguising or destroying the remains of her body between the time of her death and March 4, 2020.

Investigators were not made aware of her disappearance until 2021, despite the fact that she had not been seen since October of 2019.
According to Mass Live, the authorities did not disclose any further details on the grounds behind the search and urged “against any conjecture connected to the prospective results of this investigation.”
