On Her Way To A Family Dinner, A 5-year-old Girl Was Fatally Shot On A San Francisco Roadway

On Saturday, a 5-year-old girl was fatally shot in the East Bay while traveling with her parents to a family dinner.

Eliyanah Crisostomo was fatally shot while her family was traveling on Interstate 880 in Fremont, California, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The event took place on Saturday around 6:40 p.m., according to the Chronicle. Little Eliyanah was transported by paramedics to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. She was two weeks away from turning six. Suspects have not been identified.

For a birthday supper, the family had planned to go to Outback Steakhouse in Milpitas, California.

According to a GoFundMe set up by the family, “she died within 30 seconds of the incident.”

The website wrote of Eliyanah, “She was a happy little girl who enjoyed life, had a generous heart, and was close to her three siblings, especially her brother who was 11 months apart.”

Before this horrific incident tore the family apart, both were incredibly eager for Easter. On April 21st, Eliyanah would have turned 6 years old.
