The LaGrange Police Department is conducting an investigation into a shooting that resulted in the death of a toddler.
Officers rushed to The Phoenix Apartments on Whitesville Street soon after 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday night in response to a report of a two-year-old child who had been shot. According to the police, the incident occurred.
When they arrived at the flat, they discovered a toddler who was only 2 years old but had been shot once in the face.
The young child was rushed to the hospital, but it was too late for him to recover from his injuries there.
The police have stated that they are attempting to determine how the child obtained the firearm.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LPD), “It’s still completely under investigation right now as to how the child got the gun, where the gun was, if this was any foul play or if this was an accident,” and so on.
According to the police, there were another two adults and three additional children present at the flat at the time in question.
