Investigation Is Ongoing Following The Finding Of Baby Girl’s Remains In A Rochester Recycling Facility

On Thursday, the skeletal remains of a baby girl were discovered in a recycling center in Rochester, and the authorities in Massachusetts are seeking for the public’s assistance in identifying the remains.

The remains were reportedly located at Zero Waste Solutions on Cranberry Highway, according to the Cape and Islands District Attorney Robert Galibois and the Massachusetts State Police.

According to the MSP, the newborn was discovered inside of a trash collection that originated from Martha’s Vineyard and was transported to Rochester for disposal.

The authorities speculate that the mother of the child may currently reside on Martha’s Vineyard, may have recently visited the island, or may have some other connection to the island.

The examination of the remains is currently being carried out by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
