It has been said that Sony is allegedly putting the finishing touches on a new PlayStation Handheld device right now. However, given that there has been no official announcement, this should be taken with a grain of salt.

This brand new piece of hardware reportedly goes by the name of the Q-Lite, as stated by Insider Gaming. It is speculated that the primary emphasis of the Q-Lite, in contrast to other handhelds such as the PSP and PSVita, will be on Remote Play for PlayStation 5 consoles.

This would set it apart from other handhelds like the PSP and PSVita. enabling you to exercise remote control over your PlayStation console, assuming that you are in possession of a broadband internet connection.

Potential Features And Requirments Of The New PlayStation Handheld

It has been rumored that Q-Lite would support adaptive streaming with a resolution of up to 1080p and 60 frames per second. On the other hand, it has been stated that in order for this new technology to function, it will always need to be connected to the internet.
