Teenager Shot and Injured on Drexel University Campus

A 17-year-old was discovered wounded and shot on the campus of Drexel University on Friday night, and police are now looking into the incident.

Just before six o’clock in the evening, the event took place in the city’s Powelton Village district, close to 35th Street and Lancaster Avenue.

According to authorities, the victim’s left arm was shot four times. Police took him to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where his condition was classified as stable.

Police are now on the site investigating the shooting’s location.

Soon after 6 o’clock, a notice was distributed to the Drexel community. The title of the notice is “vehicle theft.”

It said that police were on the scene and had found a firearm and a stolen car. It was thought that a number of criminals had left the area.

According to the notice, three further suspects allegedly ran north on 35th Street while two allegedly fled east on Lancaster Avenue.

Anyone in the Drexel area is requested to stay away from the spot as authorities continue their investigation into the incident.
