According to park officials, this should not be confused with the Honey Badger, which is “rumored to not care too much,” and which is found in Africa and Asia.
The specific location of the snapshot is unclear, according to park officials, who only know that it was taken in the Rio Grande Valley, which is a portion of the American badger’s “natural range.”
Some commenters believed it to be Kid Rock looking for some beer, an otter, an Andean Bear, a capybara, or the uncommon jaguarundi.
