The Suspect In The Fatal Edmonds Carjacking At Winco Foods Has Been Identified

A guy accused of killing a man during a carjacking in Edmonds on Wednesday night has been named by police.

Around 8:45 p.m., a carjacking occurred in the parking lot of Winco Foods on the 21900 block of Highway 99. A 37-year-old male was fatally stabbed during the incident.

The 43-year-old Ian S. Bramel-Allen is wanted for first-degree murder, according to a tweet from the Edmonds Police Department on Thursday morning. Investigators claim that this was not a random incident and that the perpetrator and victim are acquainted in some way.

Police say Allen fled in the victim’s Kia Sorento with Washington license plate BTZ2137. The car was discovered by the Seattle Police Department around 5 a.m. on Thursday close to Volunteer Park.

Officials issued a warning to the public not to approach Allen, who they suspect to be close to Volunteer Park, and advised them to phone 911 if they see him. Allen was last saw, according to the police, sporting a grey beanie, a grey hoodie, blue trousers, and brown boots.
