According to the police, a shooting that took place early on Thursday morning in West Philadelphia left two persons injured.
The incident started about midnight close to the intersection of 52nd and Arch streets.
When officers arrived, they discovered a man in his 50s or 60s suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was found by the officers who rushed to the area.
Another man presented himself at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center claiming that he had been shot at the same spot as the last victim.

The investigation revealed that the crime scene contained spent shell casings from two distinct types of firearms.
Although it was known that one of the victims was in stable condition, it was not known how the other victim, a guy, was faring.
