After Three Unrelated Shootings In Louisville During A 12-hour Period, 4 Persons Were Taken To The Hospital

In the Louisville Metro area over the course of a 12-hour period, from late on Friday to early on Saturday, a number of people were harmed as a result of a string of unrelated shootings.

First, on Friday about 2:30 pm, a man was shot in Valley Station.

He took Stonestreet Road to Southwest Hospital by himself.

Later, investigators discovered that the shooting took place on Flowervale Lane, 4 miles distant.

His wounds, according to the police, are not life-threatening.

It’s still unknown why that shooting occurred.

Around 9 o’clock on Friday night, shots were fired along Winkler Avenue in south Louisville.

Both were brought to the UofL Hospital and are anticipated to make it. Then, early on Saturday morning, around 2 a.m., a man was shot on Poplar Level Road close to Poplar Hills.

When one of the males pulled out a gun and shot one of the other men, a group of men were reportedly in a parking lot.

When the shooter fled, the other men in the group escorted the victim to a nearby shop where they dialed 911.

The victim was transported by paramedics to the UofL Hospital, where he is being treated for injuries that the police described as not life-threatening.
